Local Gold: We had a chance to visit with Elephant Revival just before their two night stand at the Boulder Theater as part of their "Birds of a Feather Autumnal Ball" with Paper Bird and Horse Feathers. The band played a few tunes and spoke about the development of new material as well as the challenges of performing in a fuselage.
Local Gold: In advance of their 11/14/14 CD release concert at the Gothic Theatre, we caught up with Hayley Helmericks of Snake Rattle Rattle Snake to chat about their album. We premiered "The Breath and the Glow" from Totem. Hayley discussed the process the band went through to create the highly anticipated new recording.
Local Gold: With time running out on their crowd funding campaign to record their dream album, Chimney Choir made a triumphant return to our studios for a live performance of some of their new unrecorded material.
Local Gold: Just before the release of 'Death' their second installment of a three part EP series, Gasoline Lollipops joined us in the studio for a live musically stripped down session. Clay Rose and Donny Ambory debuted selections from the new EP with a set that included Devil's in the Ace, Longest Night, and Fast Train. The band are no strangers to our studios and we we're thrilled to have them take over our airwaves once again.
