The mysterious inter-dimensional marching band hive known as Itchy-O paid a visit to our studios to produce a live sound scape and share tracks from their forthcoming album. Itchy-O's performance art project has expanded to 40 members over the years and continues to mesmerize and intermittently terrify Denver residents. Over the years we have been very fortunate to have visits to our studio from Antibalas. This incredible band has consistently taken time out of their busy tour schedule to play a few tunes on our airwaves. As usual, our performance space was packed tighter than a NYC subway but the unstoppable power of Antibalas can never be contained and this session proved that fact once again.
Local Gold: On a very hot Friday the 13th in June, the Denver-based group Men In Burka stopped by our Denver studios to perform a couple of tunes and share an unreleased track with us. They talked about the origins of their unique sound and the response they have received from audiences locally and Internationally.
We had the honor of hosting The Budos Band at our live performance studio. The band came in after a now historic sold out show at the Larimer Lounge and played an incredible set of music. Joel Davis had a chance to catch up with the band and talk about their unique and deadly sound.
