Biography:  Wally Wallace is KGNU’s Promotions Director (commonly known as the ticket man) and a member of the Afternoon Sound Alternative Collective of DJ’s. He began his career in radio at KDUR Community Radio in Durango, Colorado while in college. He currently hosts KGNU's Afternoon Sound Alternative on the 4th Tuesdays of each month. He also is a regular fill-in for other Morning and Afternoon Sound Alternative Programs as needed. His programs focus on new music, local music, bands that are coming to town and songs that you won’t hear anywhere else on the radio dial. The Denver Westword Backbeat has said of him that, “Spotify Premium is nice, but Wally Wallace is better.”
