The one and only Tim O'Brien took the stage Friday night with an incredibly hot band made up of guitarist Bryan Sutton, banjoist Noam Pikelny, fiddler Casey Driessen, and bassist Mike Bub. It was a stellar set and one of the many highlights of Friday's line up. (From July 26, 2013)

Every year since 2008, we have been broadcasting live from RockyGrass. Our festival coverage expanded in 2012 to offer selected highlights from our broadcasts online. We hope you enjoy these archives.

RockyGrass Archives 2012: The amazing Noam Pikelny is the banjo player for The Punch Brothers, but you probably already knew that. Noam pointed out from the stage that the Planet Bluegrass festivals are where The Punch Brothers came together, underlining what a vital role these Colorado events play in developing and sustaining Bluegrass. He hit the stage at RockyGrass with a host of talented friends for what was a beautiful set on Friday afternoon.
