We had an opportunity to spend some time with Gregory Alan Isakov. He's certainly no stranger to the KGNU studios, having performed multiple times over the years. On this occasion, we caught up with him about his writing style and approach to instrumentation. We also spoke about his collaboration with the Colorado Symphony and the challenges of performing with an orchestra. John Schaefer was the host on this most recent feature. (Archive from 5/6/14)

One of Canada's finest musicians, Afie Jurvanen, is best known by his stage name Bahamas. Afie stopped by to perform live in our studios shortly after the release of "Bahamas is Afie". That evening would be the first time that Afie and his band were the headliners for a show in Denver. The concert sold out and Bahamas mesmerized the audience at the Larimer Lounge with a brilliant show.
Shortly after the release of Armchair Apocrypha, Andrew Bird and his band (including electronic artist and percussionist Martin Dosh) made their way into our studios for a live performance on the Afternoon Sound Alternative.
