Volunteer Information

You can get involved with AfterFM by getting involved with KGNU. It's easy and fun.

KGNU holds volunteer orientation meetings at our Denver and Boulder studios on the first Thursday of odd numbered months (January, March, May, July, September, November) at 7:00 pm.

You don't need to sign up in advance. Simply show up at the location that is closest to where you will be doing the bulk of your volunteering.

At the orientation you'll get an overview of how KGNU got rolling back in 1978. We'll explain ways you can participate both on and off the air. You'll also get a tour of the studios.

The volunteer orientation is how every single one of our 300+ active volunteers got started.
