Biography: Originally from Sacramento, California. DJ umo 1 has been a music enthusiast from an early age. In 2014, Umo 1 moved to TOKYO, JP where he became inspired DEEPLY by the music scene and DJ resurgence there. Now going on 5 years living in Denver, he has been a host on KGNU since 2019. Umo 1 decided to become a radio host on KGNU to be more involved in the community and to express his music selections to a wider audience.
Listeners can expect to hear all vinyl sets on Umo 1’s shows.
